When it comes to the AV medium, I specialize in motion graphics and video editing would be my secondary role, I think this comes due to my obsession with title and credit sequences, whoops.
I have always loved title & credit sequences, sometimes I spend a few hours admiring other people’s work on ArtOfTheTitle, so you can image my face when I was tasked to design and animate the credits sequence for this documentary.
This was one of those projects where I layed out the core idea for the show’s visuals, but I wasn’t part of the team who drew them, I was supervising and animating some of the graphical content I received.
For this project I was tasked with recreating this effect from MET Gala 2021 for the stinger transitions, which was a bit of a challenge and lead me to learn about using color as a way to describe time inside AE, but in the end it turned out really well!
Project Lockdown was the first ever AV project that made me truly proud. This was the first ever project where I put my VFX abilities to the test. I recreated the Telegram UI in Illustrator and animated it in After Effects, there was never a camera recording the screen, it’s all compositing, and the clock speedup was a custom AE script that I also made.
But wait, there’s more?
Unfortunately, even though I have worked in other projects, I am unable to include them here due to them not being fully released to the public yet.
